Run an Unerasable workshop
One hour. A room of 5 to 25 people. No facilitation experience needed.
This free workshop helps a group see the pressures their community faces, notice the strengths it already has, and choose one strength to build next. It is built on the same five pressures and five strengths as the rest of this site.
In one hour, participants will
- learn the five pressures and the strength that answers each one
- recognise them in a real, sourced story from another community
- reflect privately on their own community
- choose one strength to build and one small step to take in the next 30 days
Who it is for
Tenants' and residents' associations, faith and cultural groups, diaspora organisations, youth groups, teachers and anyone who wants to help their community hold together.
Before you choose to run it
If your community faces surveillance, arrest or violence, read the safety section of the kit first. It explains when to run the shorter, story-only version, and when not to run a session at all.
The kit
- Facilitator kit: a 60-minute script you can read aloud, with timings, safety notes and help for difficult moments.
- Participant handout: one page, with no name or contact fields.
- Pressure posters: five A4 or A3 posters, each pairing a pressure with its strength.
No email address or sign-up is needed. The kit is free to use, adapt and translate. If you run it, tell us what worked and what didn't through the contact page.
